My first Rc truck! Pete 379
Well Guys I'm gonna post my builds now. I got involved in this very addicting hobby in Oct 2008. I have met a bunch of wonderful people and made a lot of new friends! I didnt know about RC big trucks until then. I had just sold my Pete triaxle dump after "retiring" from truckin in Aug '08 to take a job at our local school. RC trucks allowed me to keep up with my passion of trucks! anyway enough talk, on to some pics.
I started with a stock King hauler kit. and in head first by stretching the hood, moving the fenders forward and moving the axle ahead to give it a better look. I got some longer frame rails. and got some body work done Got a bumper from PMD and a other goodies! I also made a drop visor from stainless steel! I messed around with a tilt hood to access the electronics. Last edited by fhhhstix; 09-08-2010 at 09:32 PM. Reason: I made it easier to see |

Re: My first Rc truck! Pete 379
Another great truck of your's, Brian. I remember this one from the beginning. The one that started it all. It still holds it's own, even after comparing it to your day cab, which got a little extra treatment! So clean and well done. I really like the cab skirting and chicken lights. Looks all dressed up and ready to go with the extra touches like that, and the deflectors under the headlights.
