That brass and soldering work is phenominal!!! I sure wish I could solder that clean in that small of a fitting with brass. Can't wait to see this machine operating.

Keep it up.

Got the boom boxed, and cylinders finished. Now I should get my hydraulic pump up and running to see if there's any leaks on the cylinder tubing.

Ari, looks better with the narrower tracks, the bigger machine, the narrower tracks it looks like.
This pic from a Swedish forum

What size is the L-connector on right side, M5?

Like your small connections (brazed) to cylinders, wish I had thought a little more about how to make those earlier. What´s the size of cylinders (good to know if I will build another hydaulic model, easier to find brass tubings).

I machined the tracks narrower, they are now 72 mm wide which is around 1 meter wide in full scale.
For my eyes they look more realistic now.
Here's a picture of the left track still wide.

That's a really super job you've done on this model. It's almost a shame to put it in the dirt...

Did read thru whole tread again, had missed that some pic was a video. Realy liked those showing how your mill is working. Trying to learn as much as possible about this before deciding what to buy.
The bucket is impressive with all those extra parts. Looks from pic that you use aluminum EN755, is that the best for milling? Have found a local supplier where I live, hope that it´s possible to buy shorter pieces than 6m. Will do the shoes for keeping track right in alu.
Looking forward to more milling videos!
Dan
