I haven't got there yet it's not that old according to my age it's a cent 6 control prob. 1st gen there's so much to learn yet . I hope so (soon ) I've been trying to get some construction equip going for awhile now . life just gets in the way more times then not

Loaders looking real good Steve. Just think if you had to drill all those holes by hand it would have taken three weeks.

Wow, that's pretty impressive. When I see how much work goes into a project, I feel less bad about not making time on my own stuff. I like those holes but I would hate to do them manually with a DRO.

thanks guys I just checked the specs on my motor 2HP at 24v @94.5 in/lbs of torque with out the planetary gear box which brings it to 550 in/lbs of torque . It draws 2.6 amp no load , 68 amp nominal , and 190 amp stall . But I'm only running 12v on it . Soo , now how to figure the esc just get the 1 rated for the motor specs @24v to be safe ? Or could I get away with a lower rating / 12v is all I'll ever need in power on this thing It can fill the bucket going straight into a pile of pea coal like nothing on 12v. Pea coal is about the size of scale R8 and up rock which is more then expected for this machine to handle . I was told I'd be fine with a 1/10 cc sidewinder sv2 but I just want to make sure . I'm still green when it comes too electric motors . I might do my cab in brass as I got some of that laying around .
I'm gettin antsy , I'll actually have a piece of equipment running via RC

Higher voltage means lower amperage.

Hey Steve, do you have any way to measure motor amp's? Maybe an inline fuse on the drive motor lead's? Car stereo one's should be big enough (battery cable version)
Can't wait to see video!

Digital multi-meters work good for current draw readings. You just put them into the circuit, in series, with whatever you want to get a measurement on. Or you get a clamp on meter that can do DC amps.

I also bought a Watt's Up meter. It also goes in series with your load. Pretty cool little device, but I haven't used it much. Kind of a neat little toy to play with. Just to see what kind of load your motors are drawing. It also monitors battery voltage too at the same time.

well I'm going to sping for the big esc for this and run it on 24v I got the room for the batteries yet meanwhile , I got some robbe valves from Richard with the pumps . Of course I didn't like the why they go together + It seems you need end pieces also for the ein /aus ( supply and return ) Well , I made a new base ( now lets see how long it sits till I get taps ) arhh , must have a bur on the vice now I gotta plane the 1 side again we'll see how these hold up :confussed: I may find some ci bar to remake the alumminum parts . I'm not to keen on steel on aluminum

Robbe valve

new base block

well thats it for now , vice comes off , set up for next parts run

Oh yeah, that small might be tough to find. I pretty much only use them for over 1/2", all pipe threads and specials. Makes the best sealing pipe threads
