Hey Mitch. It's been a long time. I thought you were long gone with the shutting down of the GT forum. Nice to see you here. I remember you working on your Cat wheel dozer. Hopefully you get some photos up.

Thanks for the kinds words. I have reconfigured the dozer to include a Servonaut BMA,SMX and S20. Additionally, I have added tire chains made from "Butchers Chain Armour". I have yet to figure out how to reduce the size of the pics, so that they will fit. Any ideas?

i think if you edit the photo in photobucket and reduce the size to 640/480 then save it.right click on the image you want and select "copy image location" then add it onto your thread by selecting the insert image button and copy the link into there.once the image link is coppied look for th_ and remove that part from the address and it should work

Hi Mitch, are you mxmaddog on youtube? If so you've got a fantastic fleet.
The chains look good, what method have you used to secure them to the wheels? Thanks Elliot

Yes! I'm mxmaddog, thanks for asking. I have used fishing "Leader Line" , the stainless steel version. Works and looks great.

Nice looking model-is it a working machine yet?

Yes, the loader is fully operational, and works great. Now that the chains are applied, the loader gains more traction and pushes more dirt in faster time then the tracked dozer I have.

I bought the chain from a fellow in Germany, when I was there for the Dortmund show.

Yes, i assume it was from Tobias Braeker? The guy with the red wheel loader. He's a nice chap, really friendly and helpful. Being a cheapskate I was trying to look for cheap ways to make the chains !
