Re: Premacon News
Premacon told me the crusher was made by a friend outside of the company - they had no plans to market it at that time (Oct /'12)... after seeing this picture today, I sent them a mail again to see if they changed their mind? Got an automated mail saying they're out of the office till the 19th.
I found a mini jaw crusher (google is your friend! ), a couple of them actually in various sizes. http://www.geneq.com/catalog/en/mjc22.htm http://www.geneq.com/catalog/en/mljc.htm These ones are in Quebec, which will make it far easier for me obtain them without getting killed in shipping costs! But there's several labratory mini jaw & roller crushers & impactors in the states too on either side of the country. http://www.hellotrade.com/sepor-usa/...w-crusher.html http://www.hammermills.com/industrie...le-jaw-crusher I made up of mind today that I was going to get the 2x2 in the 1st link above, but came here 1st & saw the pic above & hesitated... but, further deliberation today - it'll be yrs before Premacon ever does a complicated kit like this, the waiting list will be long & the kit no doubt will be easily 8000euro +!!! The 2x2 above is 3400, not sure if that includes the tungsten carbide plates or not, the tungsten carbides plates themselves are 1550. Once you got the breaker box, building your own track unit like that above will be a cake walk.

Well the hammer, and the jaws... I might be able to get those past the financial controller...
The crusher... Would be an entirely different story.... Ap |

Re: Premacon News
I spoke with the owner/builder of the rock crusher late last year and as Joe stated, he doesn't plan to produce them...
I told him and Frank that if they made a screener like the Doppstadt 620 then they'd sell loads.. but we can only hope :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBtNFKRDQl8

Re: Premacon News
Elliot, what size was the jaw opening on that crusher? Did the owner say what hardness the plates were?

Re: Premacon News
It was about 3in (75mm) opening. The jaws looked like milled steel, but i don't know and didn't ask.

Re: Premacon News
No I haven't Elliot, thanx for posting them up
That's a sweet, smooth, quiet running model... doesn't look too rugged though for long term abuse. The conveyer belt looks like the one from the SandMaster. Is that concrete being broke in the video?

I don't think so, it looked like a thermalite type block type material that is used on internal walls when building a house... however it may well also be able to crush stone??

Re: Premacon News
Ok, I am confused right now, yes they do make it?? Or NO they don't make it ?? Cause I keep reding these posts and people are all over the place. I am not going to build one, because A - no skill or machinery to do so, B- No time, C- I only like the one in the picture because it looks cool and really have no need or use for one. So, I will give Premacon a call and find out for my self, my only hope is that they can speak English , don't see why not since its a world spoken language .

Re: Premacon News
No, Premacon does not make one. No manufacture does. This is the 4th or 5th tracked jaw I've seen & one stationary jaw and all of them have been done by private individuals within Europe.
This is one has been around for better than 5yrs & is larger than 14th scale, might be 1/8th. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq_uI...eature=related Here's another one more recent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rC2ox...eature=related I've been watching this one since it 1st began... it's just about done. http://www.modell-baustelle.de/index...&threadID=4740
