Looking good! I have never seen one of these before! Your powder-coating skills are awesome! Looking forward to some video of it in the dirt!

Re: Carson L634
That's sharp, Mitch. Might I ask where you got the hydraulic hose protectors? I'm pretty sure those didn't come in my kit! I'm curious why the perforated metal, on the right side of the machine, is bolted to the side panel.

Re: Carson L634
Great job Mitch, can I ask where you have put the battery and what size you used, I know with mine the space is limited when the electronics go in. I have put two Tamiya packs together to give me 10,000ma but I have no room for a speaker.

Re: Carson L634
Amazing job. I've been considering the LR 634 but now I see what you've been able to do I feel inspired! Did you coat the track and the ripper shanks or are they bare metal? I've always been a fan of powercoating!

Re: Carson L634
Hose protectors from "Harbor Frieght" spring kit. Used the metal screen as an accent (and to cover a paint flaw)

Re: Carson L634
I put the battery in front of the ballast, and used two 1600 Ma batteries. Also, as you can see in the picture, I bolted a "Scale Art" speaker and box under the exhaust stack (after I cut out a hole)

Re: Carson L634
The tracks and rippers are metal, with no coating. I did bead blast the tracks to dull them.

Re: Carson L634
Thanks ! I decided to leave the rear cylinders and rippers bare metal to show the "Uninitiated" that the model is not a toy ( well not a plastic toy).

Re: Carson L634
Nice job on the powdercoat and paint. ?? for you- you have a toggle switch inside the cab in an early pic but I do not see it in any of the last batch of pics. Is it the off/on switch? Did you find out that the cab is not a good place for it?

Re: Carson L634
Great video, Mitch. One of my favorite dozers on the forum, and probably the best looking RC Deere bulldozer out there. Seems to have great traction and power too.
