Thank you guys Tyler , I still need to fill them , I was recommended a certain type of expandable foam used in auto-body to fill them that still gives a little . I just didn't get to my auto-body supply to get it yet (my primer too ) . I updated the software(?) in my radio . now all my mixes work properly . Here's a few of me stock piling stone (scale R4 rip rap ) using my m12 batteries . I'm getting longer run times /charge now . Also , this is a great way to get rid of a yellow jacket nest and not get stung no vid though . the kid got stung friday by them just "walkin" (So he said)by the bush they decided to build their nest under on the far side of the pool .

I just found a 2 part foam used in Wheelbarrow wheels, it's softer than what they used in skid steer tire. I have some samples on the way to try out. It's around 5.50 per lb plus ship.

Hey Steve been watching your progress and this baby is digging just like the real machine I see tires have been an issue your working through. I'm sure you saw it coming when you changed from aluminum to steel frame. I know you'll get it resolved . Can I make one suggestion..... The bucket function seems really, really fast. If you could slow down the bucket function it may give a better impression of the real size and scale of it. With 20+ tons in the bucket, you really don't want a snappy fast function I tell ya

Thanks , Mario I'm pleased with it except a few little bugs ( valves & tires ) I was informed , that to use this machine in the rubber pits , I'll have to put a GP straight edge bucket on it or I may tear up the carpet at indy next year .

Lol
You better not tear up the carpet at the Marriott !! They might not let us return or worse yet, impound all our toys until the carpet is paid for.

I just had a crazy thought..... Could you make bucket teeth that would mount to actual shanks? The teeth could be cast out of some softer metal and actually wear out depending the material your in ??? ....I know, crazy.

That loader digging rubber pellets ??? Hope you got a big coal bucket for it load a truck in 3 scoops

Are they good thoughts of how well the build would be , or are they thoughts of how much of a nightmare building a 994 could be lol

Are you still considering making bucket teeth for the 990 or will the 994 come with removable bucket tips.

Mario

yea i would've did both together but I want them both together in 2 weeks

mario , good thoughts I just need 11" tires yes on the caps for the 990 I just gotta get done cuttin aluminum or just shut down on it for a bit to clean the aluminum out of the mill for steel cutting . I don't want to mix the 2

Craig , I wouldn't call it a pro job , As the title states Earl S paint job for now it started getting cold here before I got to paint it . I was hoping to paint 2 other models at the same time (all cats)

I think it looks good! Sucks it blew up but maybe it did for a reason? It wanted paint hmmm 11" tires? what are you thinking of converting it into? Now put it back together so we can see the showroom new look.
