Coop, if you are welding steel, have you considered aluminum bronze filler metal? I’ve been wanting to try tig brazing myself but am mostly working aluminum...

I still have a few structural spots to weld up and clean some up but it’s together. Also the silver aluminum parts that are bolted together between the attachment braces are just there for fuxtuerimg. I cut spacers to length and have a straight rod connecting one side to other to keep things square.

Thank you all, I’m great full and happy to see another birthday. When I was younger I just couldn’t wait to turn another year older. Now,,,, the time flies by and before I know it ,another year has past!! Not looking forward to celebrating anymore birthdays but definitely looking forward to having many more!! Bucket dump, lift and articulation cylinders being made. Using steel tube (seamless) for bucket and steering cylinders. Had to use stainless tube for lift cylinders. Couldn’t get the right size I wanted in steel. Still needing to machine bottom caps and oil ports.

Everything is steel except pistons, they are aluminum.
