Andy,
Looks good to me. Are those extra parts you had left over for the pup chassis? I am trying to figure out how and what to put under my tonka dump trucks. Jim |

Cheers jim.
the rails are old air filter frames. ive just cut them down to the size I need and bolt together. they are pretty close to the same size as tamyia truck rails. its amazing what you find in the rubbish bins. cheers andy |

Hi calum.
dont have any pictures of the crusher plate. what I did to fix the bottom was drill and tap some 6mm holes at the bottom of the crusher plate. I then used some 6mm bolts ( quite long) and put some heavy compression springs in between the plate and crusher box.adjusted lenght of spring to get correct angle on plate. you will have to slot these holes through the box to allow a little up and down movement job done. cheers andy |

Hi calum.
un decided yet , have a 1200 rpm motor fitted but still waiting on belts for drive. it appeared to work with battery drill on main fly wheel at around 400 rpm. thats why I will power conveyors and crusher drive off power supply, so I can adjust on the fly to tune it with the material im running.. Cheers andy |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b0557iAbP8 Or did you just offset the bar so it pushes against the crusher plate and pivot it at the bottom? Calum |

Hi calaum. Thats exactly how I made mine.
I found several animated videos on youtube and copied the design. I have a shaft drilled off center that the plate attaches to, two bearings in crusher housing . I threaded the shaft and used 6mm bolts to hold weights to shaft. You will need to drive the crusher in the right direction , so the motor tightens to bolts on the pully. other wise pully will disappear across the room rather quickly. dont ask me how I know this LOL. cheers andy |

the truck is alive.
had to remove the original gear box and fit a geared motor to give me more room in the cab. sound card is now fitted and really happy with the polou motor. can drive all day long with 5 plus kgs in the tipper. I think the pump is straining a little ,but it still lifts at the same speed if its full or empty. don't know that that is normal? just a quick test video http://youtu.be/l-YUNzh6c9M cheers andy |

got motivated to finnish off truck, and made a start on trailer.
heres a few progress pictures. pump in and running, home made stainless tank holds just enough oil. ![]() cant fit cab to rails as too much inside, had to swap gear box for a geared motor, so printed up a motor housing and fitted sound modual under battery plate, speaker fits nicely in front grill. ![]() the bones of a trailer ![]() some metal skin makes it look better ![]() an idea of what it will look like ![]() almost there ![]() and this is all anyone will see trying to pass me going up hill ![]() ![]() cheers andy |

trailer now has a bit of colour.
pump fits nicely between chassis rails, so now have to make a tank to sit in behind the pump. I will use a deans plug fitted to the back of the truck so i can plug in the trailer. the esc for the pump will live in the cab. heres a few wet paint picts. PS the coffee cup is to hold me and the trailer up as its 3am ![]() ![]() ![]() cheers andy |

Nah blocking road cause its top heavy if overloaded . LOL
I can see a few accidents in the near future. its running on 7.2v but im useing a 12v drive motor. truck came with hyd pump ( dont know what brand it is) it is a small black square plastic unit. You wouldnt know what is max voltage for these pumps as I would like to speed it up and possibly run a 11v battery to get a higher rpm on pump. cheers andy |

The telescope cyl looks like a wedico (probably is) & the pump would be 12v. 3s would be a little slow yet, but better than 8v / 6cell.

Thanks joe.
yes it is a wedico ram , and that is good news that I can run it on a bigger battery. I also have an old wedico merc truck ( mint condion) that I got second hand with no battery. the old guy I got it off built it as a shelf model and never run it and had no paperwork ( instructions) so can I assume this is also 12v powered. ive had it around 4 years and might have a go at getting her up and running before winter ends thanks for your help cheers andy |
