Re: First Globe and trailers
OK, so you've inspired me to continue down the path and see what results I can achieve. Maybe I'll even fool around with it a little today. Thanks for the compliments and encouragement.

Re: First Globe and trailers
So I guess I'm in the mood to "play with my toys" as the wife says. The last couple of days I made the ramps for the front and decked it. I also spent some time bending some aluminum to mimic the incline typically at the rear of the deck. I think it's a bit out of whack but I need to stare at it a while. Here's some pics of the progress...
Hears the front of the deck... And the rear... The trailer ready to move... And lowered... Then detached... The gooseneck is super rough...I hate looking at tose big bolt heads but theres not much else I can do. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Bill Last edited by wrhby85; 09-22-2011 at 10:10 PM. Re: First Globe and trailers
The trailer looks good with the thicker walls to me and if you're ever gonna be hauling anything heavy on it you will be much happier with the thick wall to support it.

Re: First Globe and trailers
I was wondering if you could tell me the dimensions of the rails you have running down the outer edge of the lowboy body? And where you bought them at? I've been trying to find a aluminum beam with a small lip like that forever.
