Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Did you let the paint dry or did you do what I do and try to put the tires on when the paint was still tacky?lol It does have it's benefits though as the tacky paint works like a beadlock!

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Haha never thought of that, but I did let it dry. We are having great weather at the moment so it dried quite quickly.

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Looking very good! I run out of patience when it comes to painting. I always thinks it's "dry enough" and start putting things together. Something always ends up with a thumb print smooshed into it somewhere.lol

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Sweet build. You say that this is your first go at anything RC..... Well you are doing an outstanding job.
I too am always impatient with watching paint dry and usually assembling with tacky paint. LOL I like the idea that it helps the tires stick to the rims. |

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Yes. Not too difficult but it is time consuming! It's always those little things that double the length of time in a project. Well worth doing though!

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Yes it seems that way, all the bigger stuff went smoothly and quick, these little details just eat time. But it will be worth it, I'm pleased so far and I think that's the most important thing.
