I gotta ask since you don't have any build threads: Do you have any scratch-building skills? Can you weld/machine/braze/solder or glue up styrene plastic for a custom body? I feel like you're trying to fly without making sure there are wings first.

I gotta go with JD on this one and say you really should start small and build yourself any of the Tamiya trucks and modify it to fit your desires. There's no problem with aiming high but you gotta be realistic in your abilities and finances.

The above trucks might be difficult enough to build. But the cranes would be highly technical models that would be a huge undertaking for even an advanced modeler to complete.

I hope you don't think I'm being mean here. I'm really just trying to help you realize you have to start somewhere and be realistic. There's no reason you can't eventually build those cranes, but you have to build your skill set up first.
