Thanks guy's, appreciate the comments, some pics from this weekends expo in a place called Larchamp, I borrowed a fellow club members Goldie as mines not ready yet:

Lee, I solder the brass using an oxy/propane set with a fine torch and use plumbers flux with electrical solder, the smaller brass square tube is 5.55mm external, the bigger stuff is 5.55mm internal, its a perfect fit inside. Its made by Albion Alloys and can be found on ebay.

No worries Lee, to paint or not to paint that is the question! most people leave them black but I wanted something a bit different, are you building a 4x2 or a SLT like mine?
Have you started a build thread on it?

Stu

It's a 6x4 and will be turning it in to a 6x4 SLT I think they look a lot better as for a build thread no I haven't I'm to much enjoying the build but I should really. I'm still stuck on paint,I've built up the air tanks/battery box and fuel tanks and got to spray them when I checked out the price I nearly fainted. I'm going to put the wheels in oven cleaner overnight to take the Crome off then spray them something like a Matt Alu/Crome I don't like the shiny Crome they don't look right on a euro truck cheers Stu. Hi I'm using Tamiya I know you can use halfords paint but the kit is a lot of money and I believe that model paint is made for models especially metallic paint smaller flakes ? And didn't want to spoil it with the paint job as I'm no good at it but it's just my theory. Tamiya paint more forgiving I think it goes on thinner but I could be talking a load of ******* lol. You defiantly got a great motor there mate

Hi Stu, only now noticed your little video of the ramps. Neat job that!
How did you run the hydraulic lines underneath the trailer?

Thanks Steph, I threaded the pipes down each side of the trailer underneath, I'll take a pic when I get the time.
