Re: Another dump box variation
Well it's there and should be back early next week. Just like I figured there is no perfect match in powder coat. yellows, orange, REALLY ORANGE or fluorescent orange where the choices. Oh well, worst comes to worst you can always paint over it in the perfect shade and you will have a killer undercoat!

Re: Another dump box variation
I tried to talk Rob into having it done black and using the powder coat for the black stripes. No dice, though. I hope the closest color orange they have is close enough!
Yes, sick minds do think alike. |

Re: Another dump box variation
The pics from inside the shop show the color best. I think the middle ones make it look more orange than it is but Bottom pics are definitely bleached out. The next orange they had looked like a Stihl chainsaw and then fluorescent orange.

Re: Another dump box variation
No matter what color you paint it, you cant cover up good workmanship. You could have painted it lilac and still a great build.

Re: Another dump box variation
Don't forget that if you use aftermarket suspension you will have to mod or make your own prop rod mount.

How much is this version? I'm starting to build a Grand hauler and making it into a tri-axle dump. This is the exact style body I'm looking for. |
