Re: 3D Printed D10T Build
Jason, out of curiosity how many pieces did you print for this machine?

Re: 3D Printed D10T Build
CAD experience isn't the problem (Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Alibre, lots of experience). My problem is the time available in a day to do the work. I have a 3D printer with a large work volume so I would like to give this a shot. Just curious if you would consider releasing the STL's. I totally understand if you don't want to. Can't hurt to ask

Re: 3D Printed D10T Build
I also have a 3d printer but not the time or skills with the whole design thing to produce a product as good as you have.
I am amazed how well it has turnned out and you should be commended for an awesome result. but for a reasonable price I would be interested in buying the stl files. or would you consider printing another dozer to sell. cheers andy |

Re: 3D Printed D10T Build
Awesome Jason!! Are you using the H800 or the 480? Afina filament or another brand?
Using software for the supports or adding them manually? I'm also interested in the STL's for a reasonable price. John |

Re: 3D Printed D10T Build
Not interested in selling files.
Truckmaker, there are roughly 250 pcs printed to make this model.

Re: 3D Printed D10T Build
Thanks Jason, that's not bad as far as a kit would go, design and print, well thats a different story!

A few more pics and vid of the full assembled running test with sound. Imagine you dont hear the air purge And excuse the slight shakiness of the video, I had clamped my phone to a 60" straight edge, and it wombled a bit as it was leaning against the table. I also need a little practice smoothing out my control. Bench Test vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMtr...ature=youtu.be

I have some tweaking to do to the design, and am waiting on some new equipment. Once I get caught up, I'll def put some time into producing a few kits to sell for sure. Thank you, I have a few more accents to finish and am then looking forward to getting it dirty.

Re: 3D Printed D10T Build
An absolutely unbelievable build! It is so realistic. I don't have much experience with electronics so what sound system are you using? Ken

The sound isn't bad, actually sounds good in person due to the larger speaker and speakerbox I'm using. I had this SMT laying around, I'm curious to know what the new sounds on the new Servonaut modules sound like.. May have to place and order cause this SMT was actually supposed to be for my excavator.
