Was planning on adding more weights anyways but metal tracks are a good idea.

Do you think a standard sub-C 7.2 volt battery pack would fit with everything else you have in there, or is it small LiPo packs only?

I'm sure you haven't really got a chance to work the model, but any idea what sort of run times you have been getting?
Ok here you go, now this should give you an idea how I did mine, they tell you to glue the back section to the body but I did not, it's something that I am happy I didn't follow in the manual. It gives me easy access to the on/off switch , battery change and just makes life a lot easier.

Now you can see how everything is laid out, if you wanna use a sub C battery, you would swap your electronics when my battery sits and you can lay your battery when my electronics are right now, so be creative. One thing, nothing should be sticking out above the top black line on the chassis.
You can see my battery right there on the right, the black spektrum thing. Now I have a replacement for it that's $23 from hobby king .

Now the wiring is done by my friend Eddie , he's a freaking wiring genius and did move everything around to make it fit like it is now.
The run time on that battery is around 1:45min. Mild use that is.

Thanks Ayoub. Is that a metal counterweight, in the rear of the machine? Perhaps a guy could use that space for extra electronics, or a larger battery pack? NiMh packs are pretty heavy. How much does that counterweight weigh?

Weak brushless? Can you explain that in greater detail?

Yes you sure can remove that counter weight, a lot of people do, and you can just use sticky weight on top of whatever battery you end up using. It does however hold the rear bumper/towing hook, just a smaller screw and locking nut will fix it. I'm not really sure how much it weighs though. Way more than 4 NIMH put together , it's so compacted.

The ripper kit is only $431 US, according to Liembach's website. That's not to bad, in the grand scheme of things.

are you saying you 1 hour 45 minutes out of the battery?

I'm seriously considering getting one of these, after a lot of saving that is.

would you be able to tell me the bucket reach?

thanks buzzy.

Ayoub,

Awesome build thread and awesome machine, I am going to get started, (as time permits) to build the same machine, I've had it for a while waiting for some attention. I saw your running a M220 and a SMX, are you also using a BMA? And if you don't mind me asking where did you get the operator from? Bruder? Awesome layout as well.

Thanks Man. Sorry I just get side tracked and I don't see people's posts. Yes I have a BMA that I tried for a bit but I removed for now until I figure out where to put it. The Operator is from bruder, I just order them from the actual website under spare parts. They have free shipping.

I have an extra BMA if you need one. I got it for a Project that is not gonna be done for awhile.

Ayoub, Every time I see pics of your LR634, it makes me want to work on mine. Sad part is, it is 1 of the last projects on my list of things to do. While mine will be full electric, yours makes me want to drool at the pics. Now to get some ambition and go work on things
