Default scania T-Cab big heavy

Hiya,

Thought i'd share my build. Its a scania T-Cab with palfinger crane. Twin steer lifting axle.

The crane will be fully hydraulic with 5 extending sections. What you see at the moment is a prototype of the crane to size it up.

This will be from which the conversion kit will come from that I'll make available.

Thank you.

I cut it out of aluminium plate.

Took a while but managed it.

I really like the conversion to a T cab, and just bought ones of your bonnets from eBay. It is much nicer than anything I could have built. Are you also planning to make the smaller 'fairings' shown in your photos, and whatever steps or body parts that might be needed under the rear of the cab sides?

Thank you. -Mike

Thank you for your compliments.

Yes I am, the steps under the cab are more or less done. I'm not sure if I am happy with them though. The steps under them are also on the cards along with the original style of grill. The lower part of which is nearly done.
The cab wall hasn't been started yet but will also be made.

I decided to get the bonnet out there as there are builders out there who may find that the only issue for them is the bonnet it self but are more than happy to do the rest. It also allows me to raise some money to make the whole project a success.

Your bonnet is in the mould as we speak.

I just received the bonnet I bought from you on Ebay. I have to say that you did a wonderful job on it - no air bubbles or imperfections whatsoever. I think it's the most difficult part in the conversion, and is much nicer than anything I could have built myself. I'm very happy with it; thank you again for making it. -Mike
