Default Looking for Fastener and Tool List

Hello

I am still very new to this field, coming from R.C 1/16 Tanks, Scale military ships and submarines.

I would like to put together a shopping list of the Most Common Fasteners and their sizes used in the building of truck frames etc. Also I would like a list of hand tools for those fasteners for example, L shape allen keys, T shape allen keys. I think because of the trouble with my hands the T handle style of allen keys would be best for me BUT if there are only L shaped then I have to live with it. Taps and Dies as well all in the SAE size format. I don`t like going back and forth from SAE to Metric.

Good priced Sources would be appreciated as well.

Thanks Inadvance for your help since all I know of is ebay, sorry.

PLEASE keep the tips coming, I check here frequently and learn alot from you all.

George

There are lots of places that sell tools and small fasteners. this is just a few. If you need help finding anything special just ask. Lots of good info on this site.
