Default Peterbilt 379 day cab

This is another truck I bought from a member on this site already painted. I decided to change a few things and a few more.

I made a set of under cab plates with LED's

[IMG][/IMG]

Added a MFU

[IMG][/IMG]

Changed the front bumper.

[IMG][/IMG]

Installed the MFU controller in the frame rails.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

Installed one of Steve's locker boxes, and decided to use it for the battery and the MFU speaker.

[IMG][/IMG]

Drilled some holes for the sound and wires to pass thru.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

On to the cab and fenders next.

Keith, your latest build work is sweet !
You wouldn't happen to have a spare set of those under cab plates laying around would you?
The speaker in the lock box is genius dude, should sound great! Lots of speaker questions on the forum lately, this is another great option for others to consider

Nice work on switch box mounting plate across the frame rails. I was going to just glue or Velcro to one rail but yours looks much better and will use myself if you don't mind

Thanks for the pics and keep em coming!

Mario

Nice looking rework. I really like the speaker in the locker box, how does it sound? I'm sure it's louder but how is the low end out of it? Waiting patiently for the next update.

Thanks Dan, the sound is great. I added a little insulation to help with the low end.

OK, so the truck is pretty much complete, now onto the lowboy.

I started with this

[IMG][/IMG]

And decided to build a tarp box, not being in this line of work I dont really know what they should look like. So this is what I came up with.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

And here it is on the truck.

[IMG][/IMG]

I still need to paint it, I'm thinking silver.
