Default making lenses

Not sure if anyone covered it before, but here is my way of making lenses.

Here is what you'll need: a torch, pliers and leftover sprue.

Heat the sprue
to form a bead, careful not to let it catch fire.
Gently squeeze it with pliers.
Cut it out and file to shape, round the sharp edges with sand paper.

Mount onto besel.

That's very creative!! Now I know why I have been hanging onto all the leftover part trees!! I just didn't have the heart to throw away nice round pieces, never know what use they may have. Now my desire to keep the "trash" is making sense!! Good idea. And I have a project that I've been wanting to make some custom lights for!! Perfect timing for me to find this great idea!! Thanks!!
