I am in the market for a 3D printer does anybody have any recommendations there's so many to choose from I know a couple guys that are using makerbot but it seems like the technology is moving very quick I want the ability to make some small parts nothing crazy thanks

If you want cheap one, I would recommend china geektech prusa i3 alu. Nice out of the box, later can be upgraded with better hotend, e3d for example.

If you want more of a bulletproof easy to use and great results printer, I would recommend Zortrax M200, its great printer, very easy to use, but materials cost a bit more, thats one of the things why it has good results.

Get an Afinia H800. Ed and myself both are very happy with this unit. if you have any problems getting it calibrated you can call me.

I got a Lulzbot mini a couple years ago and have been very happy with it so far. I'm a big fan of the automatic bed leveling and the rugged design.
