Hey Greg! Love your models. Im new to the hobby and I am wondering how do you build these? Is there a tutorial somewhere? And whats the average cost?

Re: RCLogger
Greg, I'm gone a couple months and you've done it again. You build something every two months. The dozer turned out great, but I would like to see some more video of it working.

Re: RCLogger
Hey Greg, I'm confused on the batterie's? 18 volt for 12 volt drive motor's, is that because of the esc's? I'm guessing the drive motor's aren't run wide open all the time?
I'm getting part's gathered for the D4H project. Thank's, Neil#2 aka doodlebug. |

Re: RCLogger
Hey Joe The D8R is up North working, should see some video's at some point.
Neil I use 18 volt for the drive motor's, you could use 12. I like the speed of the 18 volt when backing up the machine. It is to fast to go wide open blading though.. Attached is some new video as the weather is finally warming up and less rain.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9jJrjuARbw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwwLc...eature=related |

Re: RCLogger
Thank's Greg, I'm not a speed demon when it come's to dozer's. I've had to put up with worn out Cat D6R's at work, 3rd gear with worn out chain's, sound's awful! And I'm just sitting in my dumptruck, waiting for them to push off a lift.

Re: RCLogger
Great videos Greg. The excavator digging below/under itself looks cool.

Re: RCLogger
The dozer is very pleasing to watch in operation. I wish I had the time to build one of those someday.

Re: RCLogger
Hey Greg,
Can you tell me what pump you have in your excavator as it looks much faster than the pump I have in the Wedico excavator. I think I should change mine to have it operate at a more realistic speed. Thanks Paul |

Re: RCLogger
Thanks for all the comments guys
Paul: I do enjoy the speed of my excavator, between the hyd and the swing speed it is alot of fun to operate. As far as the hyd, I use a liembach 450ml pump as I am almost always moving at least two functions at a time. ( stick/boom or stick/bucket ) Need to move as much oil as possible, also I use the 2.5 size hyd line to also help move the oil. cheers greg |

Re: RCLogger
Thanks Greg,
Is this the standard pump in the Wedico models? As I know they use the Liembach pump and valve equipment. Paul |

Re: RCLogger
You really got a good pack pounding out that grade last wk with the dozer to get around as well as you did with the KH on smooth grips.
It sure has been ugly here too, haven't turned a wheel in two wks & it was raining again today... all day. |
