"As for the modern diesel engine's, They were reliable until all this "emission's crap" came out in 2004!"

right on , Neil I grew up on IH , Mack , cummins , mitsu , perkins , and isuzu . By 5000 hrs , the pekins was the oiliest ("87"Cat 416 ) The "06" jet's egr is a PITA . Now the egr cooler leaks $$$$

Interesting truck, Mario. I work for a Komatsu distributor in Kentucky and Indiana; we started using EnerPak units about 8 years ago, specifically to reduce truck engine fuel use and wear. Now that we have our newest trucks with Tier 4 engines, the EnerPak unit definitely reduces regen problems with the truck. Can't wait to see what the EPA will come up with for the future?!?!?!

All this emission crap....it's sad I tell ya.. I drive a 2002 Mack RD

300 mechanical and a 6 speed. Throws black smoke, only does 62 MPH but it's the most reliable truck we have.

Another brand new service truck for one of the feild service techs has arrived. As you've seen the monster 4X4 service truck, the company has taken a new direction in the choice of this one.
What a beauty she is. Just had to take pics and share

Almost makes me want to go back on the road! ..... Almost.

So what size Cummins does it have in it? Or is it a Navistar engine? Oh that's right PACCAR makes there own engines now..

It is a nice looking tool box!
