Re: BJ and The Bear KW with Reefer Trailer
i used the frame rails from the kinghauler kit for the extended look,it will have the texas square bumper with holes for the l.e.d.s. it will have a full set of tandem fenders on it also.the ones on it now for looks are my extra spare set of fenders for my optimus prime build .not sure whether to go with the polished stainless look rear fenders or the painted to match the truck colour fenders..what do you think?.i also have on a set of aluminum rims from integy.there will be lots more custom things added and will post as i build it...watch for updates

Re: BJ and The Bear KW with Reefer Trailer
I like the idea of updating the look of that truck!! I also love those rear fenders, make another set or keep those. Also some big stacks would look awsome. Keep up the good work!!!!!

Re: BJ and The Bear KW with Reefer Trailer
I totally dig your concept with the todays version! I could see painted or aluminum fenders on this rig, also some nice stacks and visor. To me if you do that, and its all shiny then the fenders should be also. I really like the paint job also. Nice build!

Re: BJ and The Bear KW with Reefer Trailer
I say polished fenders, but then you have to do the same on the trailer....nice polished quarter fenders on the trailer too match. You'll have enough paint matching going on between the tractor n trailer, add the bling now. Just my thoughts.

Re: BJ and The Bear KW with Reefer Trailer
Nice looking Kenworth,id say put polished fenders on the tractor and trailer, that would look hot, maybe even a spread axle on the reefer

Re: BJ and The Bear KW with Reefer Trailer
It's gotta be a spread.....a truck that was that kool back then, would absolutely have a bad *** matching spread axel reefer behind it.

Looking good duane, can't wait to see this one in person. It was my second favourite rig of all time, just a hair behind the snowman's rig from bandit!

Re: BJ and The Bear KW with Reefer Trailer
Awsome looking truck I have the tri axle reefer made by Tamiya and removed the center axle so it is a spread axle reefer and put a set of polished custom built tool boxes between the existing two axles. That would look insane for this build. Just a thought.

Looking real good Duane, nice job. I'd go with the polished rear fenders as well. Keep us posted.

yep i am goin g for the polished fenders with the spread axle..not sure about the storage but i am definetely looking for a set of aluminum single wheel rear fenders.i was going to do both the truck and trailer but i don't know where i can get a set..i suppose i should get off my lazy butt and just make a set.but i am going for the polished look
