Hello Azizul! Thanks for the reply and I'll be in touch with you soon I just need to find out how to send private mesage first... I need a little time to get used to the forum that's all. About the pressure, you shoud consider that any over pressure is waste as you'll put you equipment components fighting against each other. You will end up wasting lots of anergy that you dont have to. About you trying bigger pump, I believe you already have a beast in there, make sure your lines have the capacity for that much flow+ you dont want The excavator to be too fast, it wont look good, just like mine is too slow.

Setti,
If not mistaken, my industrial valve block allows me to auto divert/auto cut the hyd overpressure as there is a neutral line with-in the valve block itself that function to safeguard the valve, normally <5bar pressure only when any/all cylinders are in idle/holding state, without losing its position . And I make full control of throttle valve/aka hyd pump motor as to suit different force/job level....aka the speed for the movement..hope everything is fine with my design..

PS: I'm using 6mm X 4mm nylon tube for hyd lines, with gasket fitted compression screw nuts.

Wow! every day I like it more and more!! Thanks for let me know about the overpressure valve, I was worrying about the "overpower" and your safety.

pic of main cabin with some other details (step ladder and side railing)

complete with exhaust pipe and hooks for the counter weight..

Cabin length is about 20-22inches..

And this is the real ones, will copy exact the DECALs and details as much as possible..

Looking good Azizul, great to see you making progress on this once again.

Your home built radio looks interesting, but there's something to be said for the new computer radios & their ability for fine tuning, especially the hyds! Looking at your video, can you feather the stick movement so the arms/bucket move a little slower - smoothly?

Thx Joe, my radios are cheap ones (yet to use the programmable one), so i've to mod my servo linkages as to get the best slowest swing of the servo horn. At same time, there's extension to my radio sticks as to double the length, thus reducing the swing. That will help to smoothen the hyd flow also. Need to master my skill to handle this beast.. give me a little more time to test..

Btw, your video is superb! brilliant work and achievement. like it so much, i'll follow later.

Hello Izizul! I found this micro hydraulic motors and came to my mind that you should take a look... With the pump that you have you could use them to power the tracks hydraulically

Thx, I've been looking at this style of hyd motor months already, I'd sent them some inquiry about my system and waiting for their recommendation. Wait and see if the can suit my req, love to have it.

Rgds,
Azizul.

Well done!!!! Is the second one the one for me!!!!
Izizul, I spoke with the company that makes the micro hydraulic motor that I told you and they're insane! They only sell 5 at the time and the price is US 5'000.00 each!!!! .
Do you know any one that has it for reasonable price? Thanks! Setti

Hi, it's very expensive indeed..!! more than half of my entire cost of this build I'll still looking the industrial hyd motor, but so far it's huge, yet to find the small one. Will let you know...meantime..it's for me to get use to the controls..never operate the real ones..so need time here..will snap more video later..

Hi there, not so sure how big it is because i dont have one to compare with, but compared to DEERE JD850 (scale 1:14), mine KOMATSU PC650 is 1:10 scale, will be slightly bigger in think, I myself make my own comparison based on what on the website:

You can further check my blog here as i keep all the pictures and progress there (http://my-rc-page.blogspot.com)

erm..i've lost tracking of the cost by now, i can say between USD6-8k maybe..not sure how to compare to the market, because mine is customized using industrial gadgets like the hyd pump, valve, hose + RX/TX/Batteries..sorry dun hv exact figure for you..good luck to you..dont forget to share pic too..

I dont have much update right now except spending time on 2nd excavator, all bodyworks is done and now waiting for electronics parts. Refer below.

And below is second video shootout, still in the middle of mastering the stick moves, need more time here definately..!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=l_KA10X4dl4

And my next project will be my favorite dump truck, it's a KOMATSU KAC960E below, will start a new thread when the project kicks in later, right now still on drawing papers
