Default Tires / Wheels advice needed

I wanted to do a work truck type of build and ordered a set of these Topcad tires:

Then, I just bought a set of these stamped steel bead-lock wheel form RC4WD
http://store.rc4wd.com/Diesel-Rear-S...-2_p_1847.html

Does anyone have any experience with which tires work well with the beadlocks or how to make them work with the Topcads? I tried putting the ring inside a tire, then putting the wheel halves in to start the screws and it just seemed to be way too tight of a fit. The problem is, it seems like the inner ring leaves very little space for the bead of the tire -- like you can't tighten the screws enough to draw the halves together......I'm half tempted to measure it out and then mill down the inner rings 'till it fits right, but hoped maybe someone has some simpler advice.

Your problem is RC4WD made the rings to wide for the rims in the new batch of rims. You have three options here try and get a new set of rings from RC"I screwed up again"4WD or get someone with a lathe to trim the ones you have down or figure out how to trim them down your self.

RC4WD's excuse was that they made the rings wider to actually be a bead lock and lock their tires on the rims but the problem is their tires wont work with them either. Izzy here on the board just bought a set and had the same problem with his using RC4WD's tires.

I have a set of the first run batch which they kept harping on the idea that the rims were bead locks and they wont lock any brand of tire for the semi trucks to the rim. So the went from not locking at all to not being able to get the tires on.

The good part is they are nice rims and a good idea, the bad part is they obviously did no testing of either batch of rims for fitment of the tires.
