Is anyone doing conversions of diecast models in the 1/25 or 1/50 scales?

2400 Euro for 1:50 scale excavator!!! 500 Euros for sound kit and lights!! Gotta pay to play I guess.... Sure looks like fun though..

Thanks for all of the replies.
It looks to me like as the scale moves to the smaller side, the amount of room that is available to put power where needed becomes so small that current technologies just aren't there yet. Hydraulics would seem to be the way to go.
I will keep searching.
