Default Newray forklift "project deadlift"

I just picked up a used newray forklift from 1985kenworth (thanks Dwayne!), altho it worked the non proportonal controls and lack of power sucks!

I decided to keep on my transformers theme and made up a new decepticon character named "deadlift"

I have stripped out the stock steering and radio components and upgraded them . I plan on doing a repaint

I added:

venom micro servo for steering
losi MRC esc to run the main drive motor
spektrum AR500 receiver and DX6i radio
control board out of a traxxas servo to control the lift motor.

I removed the stock steering rack and replaced it with a new one made of brass. the rest of the mods were basically just making the other parts fit, I had to decase the esc to make it fit.

as for paint, I plan on painting the rims and drivers cage decepticon purple and the main body a green colour ( like the G1 constructicons). further plans are to add running lights and a backup beeper.

Ill post up some pics tonight.
