Well at least we are all suffering together! This is what it's been like here all day.

Sadly I am about 60 feet away from toy land working on... toys. I would really like to be outside though today!

Well here's some more toys for you to make. I think I brought this up quite some time ago on one of your threads. You make the bodies now if you made the blades these guys could run their trucks year round with no excuses!

I have a king hauler kit that I think will look similar to this some day!

As far as your WET problem you could build an amphibious duck!

That looks like a lot of rain in a short period... do you have a rain gauge out?

I said to my wife that I should have looked at the rain gauge! It wasn't supposed to rain for 24hrs straight but it did. It rained a little harder around 8pm but quit long before daylight the next morning thankfully. We must of had a couple of inches over the whole day I would think. It never rained super hard but it never let up either! It was back to pissing today but there were some breaks between. Unfortunately I spent all day in the shop making wheels so I missed those breaks.lol

That sucks! It's been warm here but it's forecast to rain again today. It might be my imagination but it seems like our weather has been a little more wet than normal. Not heavier rain, just less days with sun. Oh well, the rainy days make it easier to stay in the shop!lol

Waiting for some paint to dry so I had to try out the beeper... I think it needs to be louder?

I think the loudness of the beeper is perfect. It is to scale of the machine, if you know what I mean. Any louder and it would be to loud for the size of the machine. Hope that makes sense.

I think so too now that I've played with it again. To be honest I can see myself wanting to switch it off eventually.lol

I played for about 15 min just before dark last night. Yesterday was really nice here so I couldn't resist.

The weather was nice here yesterday so I spent a few hours outside in the afternoon before returning to the shop. My wife wants to plant a small veggie garden in the yard this year and we would like to make some raised beds for it. I have a couple of small cedar logs sitting in the play area that I would like to have go away so this is the perfect use of them! I clamped my Dad's "mini mill" attachment to my saw and got to work cutting planks out of one log. This setup doesn't work as well as the larger "Alaska mill" he has but for a small log like this it worked OK. I may need to cut a couple more but this will give us a start and it gives me some sawdust to push up with the RC's!

No improvements to the excavator. I did change the oil it two weeks ago and gave it a quick bath so it looks a little better.lol It's been a great little machine and saved me a lot of money not hiring someone else.

Haha, Davy Crockett. Yeah right. I was just raised to be self sufficient and "get er done"! It's like Red Green said, "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy".lol
