Default triple axle show truck

had an idea for a triple drive axle show truck..

drew something up in cad..




bought some rails, a ton of parts from russ, and some bits from ebay:


36" frame rails
full boneyard air ride
russ's crossmembers, fender brackets, front and rear bumpers
top cad 7 hole wheels
rc4wd lo rider tires
aluminum 5th wheel, 5th wheel frame mount, fr & rr bumper mounts
capu engineering front axle

drilled some holes, tapped em and ended up with a roller..

after a lot of unscrewing and rescrewing (is that a word? ) 6 bolts on each wheel, we finally have rubber on the road

Russ is a vendor here under the bone yard, he make some awesome aluminum parts for these trucks.

I think chop 10" off your rails and use the aeromax cab and itll look just like your drawing. Looks like your rails are the full 36" yikes!!!! Good luck turning. 26-30" frames thats a good length for a strecthed truck.

looks good so far, I have to agree with taking a few inches off your rails I have a stretched Pete and with a trailer turning sometimes sucks. Good luck keep us updated. TONY

some grinding, some glue some styrene, some filler...you can see where the chop top is going to be

lengthened about a 1/2 inch, ground off the hood vents, extended the cab and fenders down,



and whipped up some fenders.. got russ's bumper on for mock up, going to need to make it flip up, or raise the mount a bit.. ants are in danger of getting hit by the bottom of that thing.. lol
