Hello Izzy ,
Your are planning on a new trailer-project ?
I still have all my stuff packed from Indy , but I can tell you this ,
If I am not mistaken , the distance in question should be pretty much the same on all Tamiya trucks , since almost every truck has the 5th wheel in a different position ,
( actually to far back , in regards to scale ) most likely to make them fit the same way under all Tamiya trailers .
I have the parts of a Tamiya flat-bed trailer laying here , and by rough judging/measuring
I would say the king-pin to the beginning of the support legs is just between 6.5” to 7”.
And by looking at a Globeliner and a Knight Hauler ( in parts ) ,
it looks like that the center 5th wheel to outmost fender/bumper corner is by both trucks just around 6”.
I can give you some more accurate dimensions in a few days ,
( if nobody else jumps on this )
since this weekend is for me again “play-time” yeah !
