Good work Ulrich

Is the model entirely scratchbuilt by you?

Looks very good! A nice mix between metal and (what I guess is) 3D-printed parts.

No. Those are the parts I got:
- undercarriage is an old Premacon. I adusted the width and added weight
- pump Modellhydraulik Kampshoff
- cylinders Modellhydraulik Kampshoff
- rotating assembly Fumotec
- cab Premacon
- valves Leimbach

The rest is either milled brass or aloy and 3d-printed parts. Those I produced myself. The lasercut steel parts are bought as well. I wanted to try all current manufacturing possibilities, so I started drawing about a year ago...

The counterweight is for example just a raw draft. There is a lot of CADwork left to do. I just wanted to make sure all the parts fit in, before wasting time.

Yes, that´s how it was build. The 3D-printed parts cover the structure. I´m hoping to get an almost paint ready surface with this kind of construction.

bye
Ulrich

The hybrid construction of the boom is really nice. All the hydro/electrical is beautifully packaged too.

I love the zero swing excavators.

That looks familiar, did you sacrifice a Liebherr 944b to make that ?

Yes, that was supposed to be a 944. I bought the undercarriage some years ago. It isn´t 100% but I didn´t have the time to start from zero. I just had to cut it in half and reinforce it with steel to add some weight and fit the rotating assembly

bye
