Re: question
ok i am sorry. i did not explain it right. i know that i can have ( so i hear) 20 RX's in the radio's mem.
what i am asking is can three Rx's be bind to one model name. to have (1) three channels for the tractor, one (2) for the goose neck, and one (3) for the trailer's fifth wheel. BackSplash |

Re: question
Yes you need to bind all 4 at the same time.
Problem is all 3 rx will do the same thing. Rx1) steering channel will be steering on all 3. So if you need 3 ch for the tractor those 3 are occupied on the other 2 rx |

Re: question
I have heard rumours that Joe can run two trucks off the same TX at once by binding them at the same time. Would they have to be set up so that their throttle and steering channels are on different rx channels (one on right stick channels and the other on left stick channels)? Seemed like I don’t recall that being mentioned back when I heard about it, but maybe I missed that part...
Edited to add: Turns out the original video I watched didn’t mention the channel setup of the two trucks. A follow-up video from Medic about two trucks on one radio does mention it. Last edited by Rascall Hunter; 11-15-2019 at 02:38 AM. Reason: adding info |

Re: question
Yes, I drive one adt (for/rev, steering) on the left stick & the other adt on the right stick. Then ch Aux1 3pos switch to dump box for one adt, and ch Aux2 3pos for the other. Spektrum DX8 radio using AR8000 receivers.

Re: question
Those trucks are set up with one using two of the four main channels for driving, and the other using the other two? Meaning that if one adt is bound to a new transmitter, it will always drive with the same stick (so long as the radio is in the same mode)?

Re: question
I just watched the vid again, thanx for posting it frizzen, I didn’t say specifically what chs on the sticks I’m using for each... this radio is on mode 2, which puts the throttle & rudder together on the left stick, and that is the painted cab adt.
All computer radios I’ve dealt with could be set in 1 of 4 modes... mode 1 would be throttle rudder on right stick. Mode 3 & 4 would pair throttle with either aileron or eleveron, not sure the order on the sticks, but that comes in handy for other operators that may want to change to make your model work to their comfort level without manually changing the servo plugs in the receiver.... example iso (JD) vs sae (cat) controls on an excavator.
