why post this and not the new thread

so i get this when i press new threads to see what is new today yet there is nothing about what i posted in my thread also i have had posts take up too 2 days to appear if at all {The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts.) would not be quicker to just put the new post up ?
