Default Re: Structo dumptruck conversion

I really wasn't sure about trying to mount anything low on a Belly Dump trailer. Unless you're working over a dump bridge grate, they usually do rough offroad work. If a Dozer or Grader guy isn't cleaning up between runs, there's going to be a lot to get hung up on at the dump area. With the Euclids i'd even wondered about using a metal Crawler driveshaft welded to a bridge for the Hitch joint instead of the toy setup.

What, Cranes are last on the list? Do i need to start posting more about my nylint Michigan crane to hype you up? I still can't figure out what i'd like to run for its drive tandems.
Also I was thinking when i get to it, i may try to do a chain drive axle for my Unit 357 crane. Then maybe eventually i could try to build the bolt on parts for a cable hoe or facing shovel with the other one.

It's still scale, and i play fairly well with others, most of the time...
