Looks pretty good Mike.

Those linear accuators seem to be fairly smooth & quick.

How low below ground level can it dig?

Practice practice practice we were all beginners once. I look forward to seeing more videos from you.

great job very clean bruder conversion, and the actuators look like they work pretty well , I also have same question as Joe, how low will the main boom go , or how deep will dig? I should say it doesent look like there is much down travel on the main cylinders? and are all the rams the same lenght? nice job, looking forward to more video and pics.

great looking truck too

Great job Mike

Do you have a speed control for the drive system and motors or are you using servos ?

Looking forward to your next build...

Mike that Bruder looks great and also looks like it is very smooth even with you being a "rookie" operator as you say. One of these day's I'll get back to mine and get it buttoned up and running. Just got a lot of projects on the plate and this is one of the more extensive ones that I've put on the back burner.

Brilliant !

I have a excavator on the way - so will be looking for some of those actuators myself. If you could post up the sizes you used, that would be a great help !

May even get some for my Bruder Liebherr loader project too !

That seems to have some power the way the tracks are sliding. I gave up on using mulch like you have in the video the first time I was trying my dragline bucket out. That stuff is a pain to move. Try some sand and pea gravel mixed or topsoil.
