Default MFZ Blocher 1/16 tractors and Implements

Hi Guys , Been a long time since I last posted anything, but I am back ( at least for now ) with something I said I will never own, but here I am, building tractors . I didn't want a bruder modification just because I wanted to do hard work with this machine, and if you already know me, you know that I really like good quality products . This was just as big of a pain in my A $ $ as getting my excavator, I got one shot and I was going to take advantage of my luck and get everything I want. This guy did NOT want to sell me anything because he doesn't sell outside of Europe, played the back and forth game for 7 months before he decided to let me pull the trigger. Enough talk, here is the first, 4x4 articulated, not finishing anything just yet because I want to get them built first. Oh and I did NOT get any instructions, yay me .

Looks good but I will warn you about the modelcraft motors they are what Stahl used in their equipment and they require an ESC with a big dead band as to not blow up the motors. If you don’t know dead band is the amount of 0 output between forward and reverse. Without dead band the motors will get just a slight bit of power which will heat up the capacitors inside and cause them to explode inside the can. These motors have 3 capacitors mounted to the com in between the windings and spin with the com. When they blow up it locks the motor solid. I bought extras for my dozer and loader after 3 had blown up. Now I have replaced the motors on the gearboxes with 380 crawler motors which gave me three advantages, no more blown motors, more speed, and more power than the original motor.

Good to know. I will keep that in mind, I'm planing on using servonaut ESC. Like I said I wasn't going to be picky, I took what I could get.

The servonaut should be a good ESC. I have been playing with one of the 220's for tracked machines and they are nice and smooth 10X better than the sabertooths. The modelsports are good motors you just have becarefull with the deadband and the servonaut should be good for that.

Nice project!

I don ´t want to disappoint you, but this is not a Blocher-chassis. The Blocher has a 3pt hitch. But this one should do also...

Back for more. Another 4x4 tractor, my favorite one!! I like the bigger rear wheels and I like the square wall tires, just looks awesome.

continue

This is cool, I never saw one before, it's a grub screw with a spring ball in it that fit in a groove of the hitch pin, that way it can be removed easily and when you put it back in, the grub screw/ball keeps it in place.

next to the tractor with the donor body.

implement build, well not much to it, very simple and heavy , I can't wait to use it come spring.

I hope you guys like this build. If I have done something different than what needs to be done please let me know. I'm not a farmer or know how these things work. If I offended anyone but calling these machines by the wrong names you can direct your complaints to Travis

Next is The Krampe trailer with driven wheels, did not know it was coming but it was a surprise for me when I opened the box, I think Andreas just felt bad and upgraded me to make up for all the time wasted, because I can assure you I paid for the basic kit.

That's all she wrote for now fellas, I hope you enjoyed these picture and thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Ayoub

Thanks guys! May I add that the quality of these parts is second to none, didn't have to tap , grind, push or shove a single freaking thing. I was mind blown by his work.

Quite a nifty bit of kit you got there Ayoub!

The powered trailer, is there roller clutches in the wheel hubs so the wheels will freely roll forward without power?

Thanks Joe! The wheels will roll if you drag the trailer , but not free roll at will as you can hear the motors whine while doing so. I dragged the trailer around unpowered with my truck just to test it and it pulled it with no issues .

So will you program deceleration with steering?
