Re: 140H Grader
Sneaky-pete, thanks for the complments
Jammer, I appreciate the helpful information on parts to make this model possible. Hammer, I should be putting the step ladder on today and she will be finished......WHEW!!!! Cbazq271, To prep it, i used a balsa filler called Hobby-Lite. The filler is easy to use and contours very well. That sealed all the cracks and holes. I used a wood sealer/primer for base coat, then the Cat yellow........oh i almost forgot, 1st thing was to sand, sand, sand, sand up to and including the primer.

Re: 140H Grader
Rob, Your grader build is awesome and knowing how it was built is amazing. Great work from a very skilled builder. We need one more picture though, you standing proudly beside it so we can see how big the model actually is.

Re: 140H Grader
Another outstanding build from an outstanding builder Unless someone knows, you would never guess there is wood under some of that paint.

Great
And I mean "great" - not "great considering it's wood" I'd love a play area like this close by #sigh# Cheers Jens |

Re: 140H Grader
Thanks EVERYONE for the kind words! There are 6 things I want to change on it........the WHEELS, these are bad for traction and steering, overall, I am satisified.
Here is a size comparison: Build material: Wood Build time: Approximately 1 year Length: 43" Width: (outside of tire-to-tire) 13" Height (ground to top of Cab) 15"
