Default My Hot Rod

Here's my hot rod. 1930 Ford Model A Tudor. 80 years old and still going strong.

Picture taken at 19 Wing Comox. Main land is 17 miles in the distance.

Beautiful piece of history you have there Rob, I'm sure it's a joy to drive on a nice summer's day.

My neighbor has a half dozen old cars like yours, though I can't tell you exactly what yr or make. He's retiring from farming this yr (age 62) to make more time for his craft.

Funny that you say that as this car was restored by a fellow from Plunket Saskatchewan. This car sat in the Ford dealership in Saskatoon for about 10 years after it was restored in 1981.

Plunket? Never heard of it. Maybe my neighbor will recognize the car, though it's really just the last 25yrs that he's been an avid restoration enthusiast.

How many miles have you clocked on this ol' gurl? Did you drive it from S'toon to the Island?

Plunkett is a little crossroad town about 45 miles east of Saskatoon on highway 16. I actually bought the car from a guy in Wainwright Alb. It was just too far to drive her so I got a company out of Ontario to pick it up and I got it from the ferry terminal in Tsawwassen. It sure is a fun car and everyone that rides in it is laughing their heads off when they get out. I put 560 miles on it last year for a total of 3200 since the resto.
