Some more work done (you can see a lighter for size comparison): Head lights seem to be very big in the pictures, in real life they look smaller, don't know why it is so. Now are the basic curves of the cab ready, a lot of sanding is waiting me Next I'm going to start adding details: interior, mirrors, front emblem, rotating lights, muffler, glasses etc. Some of them will be laser cut and maybe even 3d printed. I wanted to do a test drive in snow but found that I have screwed mounting bolts to one of the motors too deep inside and now it is making wierd noises. Have to find a guy who can repair it. Looks great!
Sorry to hear about the motor problem. I guess the screws are too long and reach into the gearbox? I would hope that if you use a shorter screw, it would work and didn't do too much damage. Or maybe I did not completely understand, and the problem is more serious? |
