Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
#1 B50, it was this month in 2015 when it started hauling, I think it might of been Apr 15; I had to change bushings in the suspension beam, the axles were moving side to side way too much.
#1 has brushless drive motors, way more power to pull a pup up my 20* ramp out of the basement, the pup has brushed drive motors, the ADT itself doesn't have enough traction by itself to pull the pup up such a steep grade. Tried it out tonight, works pretty good, much better than the other ADT with brushed motors. I now have these 2 ADTs paired on a DX9, not quite enough channels so the pup dump & #2 ADT steering are on the same channel. My new crusher from 911 Metal Lurgist showed up today. It's a lil taller than the old Geneq crusher & an inch wider so it crush more material faster, hopefully nonstop with the loader feeding the screener. Mounted up to the old the old Geneq frame today, just need to get a new longer v belt for it tomorrow & give a go. On 911 metal lurgist site, it recommends 1hp, but I'm gonna try with this 1/4hp motor 1st. The material I'm putting thru it has already been crushed once by the larger crusher & sized down to about 3/8.

I have one of those or something similar. decal on side says "The Crunch" Never tried it yet. The big Morse I've had at Cabin Fever works very well but much larger.

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
Are they both jaw crushers? I thought the one you took to cabin fever was a 2 roller crusher.

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
Getting some damp dirt moved out of the basement to ground level where it will dry out quicker. The unpainted cab that I put the pup on has brushless motors in the drive axles, way more power than brushed, the trk pulled it great up the ramp but it was time consuming & tight to dump on the pile... no more pup.
https://youtu.be/He00d6Gpxs8 Flat topping the pile for the next layer to dump on. https://youtu.be/Ni1kA3CYtFs

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
Finished planting on Monday, time for hobbies again, getting some dirt hauled outside. The perimeter of the shop is done, so I'm just broadcasting the dirt out in my yard.
https://youtu.be/LCCAvsSCNLQ So now that hauls are getting further away, time to build a 3rd cross dump trl... today I ordered from my local auto parts store a needle thrust bearing with an outside diameter of 78mm & a height of 16mm to put a steerable turntable between the rear of the trl & the drive axles to help get the long train around tight corners that 2 trls are barely clearing now... $270cdn... covid bs has made the world gone mad with inflation pricing!... anyways, I hope it's here in a week. The weather outside today, suppose to be Spring...

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
The new dig & haul videos looked really good, can't wait to see how the wiggle-wagon does with the extra trailer
Looks like that crops putting out a ton of white pollen.

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
That snow along with some rain mid week added up to a good bit moisture to get the crop off to great start... and I guess the world market thought so too b/c everything dropped 30% last week.
I found a cnc water jet guy about an hr from my house & he's willing to work with me to cut out parts for my rc's... last Friday I got all the sheet cut for my next trl, + a new set of doors for my 1st cross dump, the one that is painted & always bind when closing. Get the welding done this week maybe to see that everything fits together properly & be testing 3 trls together on the wkend... if no changes needed, put in an order for 5 more cross dumps. And I put a bug in his ear to draw up clam dump trls... I've got an article from a plastic model magazine from the 90's that showed step by step with measurements to build in 24th scale, my yellow clam dump BTrain for Tamiya semi was patterned from that article. Got some dry dirt hauled out of basement last couple weeks, something to screen & crush on rainy days. Soaked up another area in the basement a week ago, another week of drying & it could be prime for digging without being too muddy & sticky... spread a layer of rock chip over it so the tracks don't get gummed up with clay. My next dirt work project has been canned or maybe postponed till this covid bullshyt pandemic goes away & construction costs somewhat normalize again, so for now I'm just gonna go deeper in the basement, take clay out & put gravel back in just to keep the fleet moving & somewhat interesting... Got a bobtail load of what I thought/wanted was pea gravel last week, now I realize what I should've ordered was rock chips...I've tried running this through my crushers, my big crusher won't close enough to break it much & small crusher takes forever b/c it's such hard rock... so this pea gravel will mostly be spread throughout my yard & some will go in deep in the basement & rock chip will be the final cover, 30 cubes from now.

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
Got my 3rd trl box welded together this week... just need to make the front hitch & figure out the rear frame to make it steerable with a Actuonix actuator.
I put a mount on the 490 bucket to use with the 850, its shape & long teeth makes it an awesome digging bucket... the power of the 850 however, silver soldering not strong enough, a few spot welds with the mig to strengthen it. The clay is really sticky, I'm using the 850 bucket to keep the trench wide... I'm digging a trench to start to get a straight wall bc these model excavators don't have the side way power to do straighten wall afterward unless you're digging directing at the face, make sense? Buffed the rust off the sides & bottom of bucket, and tried a couple of different lubricants hoping it'll glide through the trench easier... didn't do much & both were wiped clean after a couple of passes. I sharpened the teeth up too. Last 2 pics show the next cut being soaked up, start digging in July.

Got some dirt dug out & hauled up this last couple weeks.
https://youtu.be/VvLxGbBrF28 https://youtu.be/zToKplW31Nc Now that crop spaying is mostly done for awhile, get back to finishing building the crossdump trl & graveling my yard with that pea gravel so I can get a bobtail of rock chips to haul to the basement, what I should've ordered originally.

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
I haven't touched my 3rd cross dump trl since I last reported about it, just no build ambition, but I have moved lots of material in the last month... dug a deeper hole in the basement, hauled some of the dirt out of the basement out & moved lots of rock into the basement.
Now as of today I'm just scraping up the last of pea gravel to spread around my yard.. probably won't be till after harvest that I order a bobtail of rock chips. I got this "lazy susan" turntable from a neighbor earlier in the month, super handy tool for painting rims and other large assemblies like frames & cab. A few movies from the activities the last month. https://youtu.be/aWj7WNLZw1U https://youtu.be/Dtk5Lgn2rnk https://youtu.be/dloFlDZRwec https://youtu.be/Uf4fT0-jsvk https://youtu.be/gVrtvOsggR8 https://youtu.be/FMfX7eLSGfA https://youtu.be/MuqX623fL7s https://youtu.be/hBS7EzHDexk

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
Got the last of the gravel tidied up last week...
https://youtu.be/hBS7EzHDexk Friday this showed up... Fumotec's WA470 The cab & rear grille are magnetic placed so you can get to the guts of the machine easily; just 2 bolts to remove engine hood & 2 more to remove bumper. The way this model is configured needs 10chs, but I only got 9ch rx, so the servo operated engine hood lift won't be used. for/rev steering boom bucket tilt quick coupler (hyd) extra hyd valve (a high dump bucket coming soon) 2 spd trans diff locks hood tilt pump Go put the rx in now & tune it up... plus take off a bunch of delicate 3D printed parts like the rear mudflaps, handrails, front fenders, put em in a box. Got no job for the loader atm, doing a shyt ton of painting right now, don't want to make any dust crushing, screening, hauling.

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo
What’s new? Lots of things.. if you’re subscribed to my utube channel you’ll have seen.. not sure how many vids over the last 2yrs, still digging crushing screening several cubic yards every yr. Been fixing, updating, rebuilding quite a few models this winter. Presently building a new model this week.
