Re: Bruder Delta tracked loader
Thanks Brian, it is a tamiya gearbox that I seal up to keep dirt out.
It is a blast to operate. I didn't want to get it dirty because I might sell it so, I figured loading stone would show how much power and agility it has...I just finished it this afternoon and haven't gotten the hang of running it smoothly yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwDHgERW5xk

Re: Bruder Delta tracked loader
Thanks ModelMan, it can be tedious.
Thanks Steve, I was surprised how much power it has myself. When I first powered it up the bec from the saber tooth esc wasn't enough to run everything so, I added a 5 volt 5 amp (continuous) bec feeding just the lift and curl.

Re: Bruder Delta tracked loader
Very nice conversion, you were pretty smooth on the controls too. Do you mind if I ask about how long it took to do.

Re: Bruder Delta tracked loader
Thanks, it took about 50 hours to build. I spent 2 days just making and figuring out the mounts for the twin bucket curl servos and doing the wiring for them. It took a lot of time figuring out how the get all of the servo power transfered to the lifting arm as well. The more I think about it, it was probably than 50 hours but, I enjoy making these creations it feels like driving powerful little robots when they are done
