Wow! That looks great!
Are you looking at the Premacon 576? How does it compare to the 966? I have the 944 from Premacon and love it.

Yes the 576 is from Premacon, it runs more psi, diff locks. Overall diamentions are about the same, the cost is also a lot more than the 966. Where are you based with your 944?

I like it this is a cool set up. You are a lucky guy, I have had the opportunity to drive a Scale Art truck and there is no comparing it to anything else out there. I am sure the trailer is just the same quality and it should be a great ride for the loader.

The lights and ramps run from the truck with IR, the transmitter is between the chassis rails behind the cab and the receiver is on the front of the trailer. The only problem with the IR setup is it uses power from the truck battery, it is adjustable the stronger you make the signal the more power used.

Thanks Travis, you are correct about the quality and everything is so smooth.
Very happy with the setup although I should have had the cab painted a different colour, its to dark, maybe some white graphics may help.

I agree it does contrast but some white graphics or some lettering would probably make a big difference. A white stripe across the bottom of the truck may look good to. You could always try some strips of paper to get an idea. Good luck and I will keep checking in to see what you do with it.

That's nice! Both the truck and trailer. To bad Scale Art doesn't make any North American type trucks. They really are the nicest models out there. The trailer looks like it could be a little longer, but who can complain about that? The 966G takes up the whole deck! I wouldn't change the color of the truck. Black looks great!

Did you buy your truck completely built, or did you build it from a kit?

Yes I had it made in Germany by Stefan at TTM, There is a guy here in Perth who purchased one as a kit maybe two years ago? and it is still not complete. Some of the bolts are that fine you could mistake them for dirt under finger nail
and then you have try and put a nut on them, my fingers are way to fat for that.
I just dug out some old pin stripes from the Knight Hauler, maybe I could use them on the side of the truck?

Very nice truck and trailer Paul, always admires their models when visiting fairs. I´m not into this scale but i they made bigger ones it would be hard not to have one. Hope you find a nice load for trailer later this year! IF, i was in in this scale Premacon would be my choise, I'm a Scania man when coming to european trucks. Their trucks looks as good as ScaleArt, don't know if they are sharing components.

Hi, nice ScaleArt and trailer. Here is a pic of my ScaleArt. This is the 3 way tipper. It is definately sweet. I am a big rc construction equipment person, but I am getting more into the trucks and trailers. The dolly trailer is so cool, and that you can control everything from the radio. Thanks, Eddie

Hi, I bought it from a guy that lives in the country of Turkey. It was pretty much like new. Just the ScaleArt electronics took some figuring out. I had to figure out the multiswitch setup for radio. So I used the F16 with the multiswitch. The Scaleart have a common problem with the radio frequency for the radio setup. And because you have to use a multiswitch with the ScaleArt electronics, I only had the F16...... So mine has the Aeronaut speed cotrol, the ScaleArt control module electronics for the lights and hydraulic pump, and the SMX.
Do you have the ScaleArt electronics for the lights and hydraulic? Or did you go all Servonaut?

Yes all of the electronics are from Servonaut, using a FC16 transmitter.
