Default Atlas Copco CB2500 pulverizer

Meanwhile the A40 is at stand still, I decided to start a small side project. I'm trying to make a Atlas Copco CB2500 pulverizer. It's a little small for my Cat 374, but if it works somehow maybe I'll make a bigger one for it.

Here's a some pictures of it:

Thanks guys

The piston rod is 12mm and piston is 24mm.

It's not totally ready yet, still needs to be welded together and do the hydraulic lines.

Great work! I can't think of anything you have made that is not a work of art. Will be nice to see it at work when finished.

Well done Ari

What's the maximum jaw opening? Are making a hyd turntable too?

Have you started the construction of a plaster house as well?

Thanks Joe
Max jaw opening is 80 mm. I purchase a rotary drive from Premacon that I'm planning to use.

I haven't started the house project yet

That's awesome! The machining is astounding.

Since a Plaster House was mentioned, i have to put this here...

Disposable oven pans, shoe goo adhesive, and a body to form it over.

This is an incredible piece of craftsmanship Ari, I'm curious as to the scale Crush force this could produce.

I did some work with the hydraulic rotator. I decided to make a housing for it so that it looks more like the real thing. The rotator is from Premacon:

I just noticed that you're gonna have to add another valve in the machine

Beautiful as always, Ari. You may have said before, but are you using a pulse arc welder? Something I've been interested in but have held back due to cost. Seems like it would be a great thing to have.

Keep up the fantastic work!

I have Lampert M200 welder. I agree it's not cheap but it really is a great device
