Question Spektrum DX10 system fault

Hy Guys, I purchased said item at Dortmund this year for one of my new models, The model that it is going into is ready for the transmitter testing.
After connecting all of the servos all was good, turn off the transmitter came back to it later turn it all on again and this came up.

Has anyone had any experience with this issue?

Hi Paul,

Hold the black roller button down for 5 to 30 seconds and it will clear..

Thanks Elliot, I did what you said and it now works fine. How did you know about the fix?

Hi Paul, glad it worked. My radio did the same a few times, its a problem with Version 1 of the software. Sometimes it clears by itself but once I couldn't get rid of it, so I called horizon hobby and they told me about holding the roller button done until it clears.

I would suggest upgrading the firmware on the 10t if you haven't already.

Note: you should backup you models to the SD card before doing so. You may also need to re-bind the models.

Cheers,
AP

I have upgraded the firmware and it has solved the problem,
Now it takes about ten seconds for the transmitter to boot up.
Prior to the firmware upgrade it would boot up in about 1 second.
It's not a big problem but its not the same as it was out of the box any ideas?
Thanks Paul

Paul,

Mine takes a while to start up as well, not 10 seconds though.

I might try and ask Spektrum to comment on the boot time (it does feel long).

I will also check my DX8 and see if it is the same.

Cheers,
AP

Paul,

I did ask Spektrum about the boot time, apparently it is due to the additional complexity. The dx18 is similar to the 10t.

FWIW I have been playing with the spam files, from bog the 8 and the 10t, the 10t's ones have a lot more stuff.

Cheers,
AP

I have a comment from someone in the know in Spektrum whom reckons 8 mixes are available on the DX10T.

Today I tried some stuff with the mixes on the radio, and documented how i did it:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6LW...it?usp=sharing

I do know that whilst I can't see the mixes once I move them they do still work. Just not sure how many active ones I can have.

Cheers,
AP
