I changed my mind and decided to paint it red and white!
The frame is painted.

I moved the front axle forward.

Now comes the part I hate.....cutting the fenders, hood, and so on!
I hate sanding!!!

Looking good Troy! I like how the hubs are red against the polished wheels.

I'll be watching this build closely. There have been a few KH to Peterbilt conversions now but not so many KH to Kenworth conversions. Looking good so far! I didn't realise the front axle needs to go forward for a KW too. As far forward as a Peterbilt?

Hey Nick,I think the axle needs to be moved forward on the KH kit for any
build in my opinion.Look at the stock bumper spacing....it's way to big of a gap to be prototypical!

Thanks for the comments!

As I have been working with my Knight Hauler, I am thinking about using it as a base for my W900l. Yeah the King may be a good choice, but I have my reasons for choosing the Knight.

You are doing a great job sneaky-pete.

Off to an excellent start! Boy, just looking at it from the front end, with that grill, Wedico headlights, and the bumper already on there, it hardly looks like it will need much more to be an accurate KW! Even though I know there is more work to be done with cab steps, air cleaners, ect. Very awesome project. I like it!

Yeah, I had to email rcstation to get them to send me my stuff. They have good prices and good parts, but they seem to be lacking in the customer service department. After I ordered the stuff, I emailed them 2 weeks later, then it took another 4 weeks to get it here.

rc-vincent.

you did.Yours inspired me to do this one,and I can only hope mine looks half as good as yours.

Thanks for the comments from everyone else.....it keeps me motivated!
