Thanks oztruck. I don't mind assembly to much....its more of a "I want that excavator and I can't wait to use it right away" kind of thing lol.

In any case, I ordered a Hobby Engine Excavator Premium Label. I did read the threads and watched the videos on the modifications to this item so I will give that a try and see how it works. More of a sample item to test and learn about the construction of these little wonders (minus the hydraulic system of course).

Only reason I purchased this is basically to take it apart and check out its construction. Perhaps use it as a template for a scratch machine at some point (hopefully my friend can build for me..he is a machinist).

I have been looking on RC4WD website, some really nice stuff there. But, when the wife saw the prices she basically told me "your gonna have to save up for that...start working your overtime hours." lol
