Default reinke 48'x102 drop deck

I worked a deal awhile ago with Reeve to build him a drop deck like a 1:1 he has . Now if you don;t know me by now , I like to make things as close to the real thing as possible since my mill predates cad/cam I'm basically programing the long way (G code ) (at least for frames ) I had hopes to mill the frame rails with the suspension hangers , BUT with the jumping on the x it just not gona happen I was all set to run them but I can't get the end mills I need today and editing this thing is a PITA but here it is on paper I hope to have some frames in the next week or 2 as the 1:1 life has me busy again

As for the jumping on the X axis, what are your steps set to, and what operating system is the mill using?

LOL you mean a one time use boat anchor.

There are documented problems with this contoler atfter conversion to single phase. The inverter is not able to handle the change well, causes jumpping and HS travel when you try to use grid function.

Try swapping Z and X cards and see if the problem occures on the Z. This should help isoulate the problem.

Sometimes the floresent lighting also interfers with the siginal.

These are just some of the results found.

Personally I would put a xylotech drive on it. I am running this on my router with 406 inoz steepers at 1/8 steps with good results.

Steve, the trailer is looking great as usual. I had almost forgotten this thread. I'm glad to see some updates on this trailer build.
