Looking really good! The steps are very nice. Off the same kit that my new Cat engine came from? I like the blue. It's a good color. I remember you thought about doing a faded paint scheme. Still headed that way?

Thanks for the comments from all of you!

The paint is sonic blue pearl, and your right Nathan....the steps are from
the 1/16 monogram kit.

As of right now,I still plan on doing the worn out, faded paint,
lots of chrome... trucker on a budget look!

I like this build a lot, keep it up. The colored frame adds to the realism of the kw, weather its that blue or the red it used to be. Nice job.

I had a little more time,so I laid down some more paint.
Now I need to wet sand, add the gold and white and clear coat.
This is the nerve racking part.

That truck is beautiful! I know your building a daycab, but with the cattle trailer I think a Wedico 60" sleeper would really look nice on the truck. Very sweet truck you have there.

The frame length is perfect on her as well...(Yes I do like frames under a 400" wheel base) Good Job my friend.

Hey guy's,I have a few progress pics!
I still have to put chrome rings on the air cleaners, add emblems, and several
other things.I hope to be done this weekend.

I goofed up big time.....I forgot about using the Kenworth door handles
I didn't realize what I did until I got out the sprue from the kit.
Oh well it's to late know.
I also changed my mind on the paint scheme, and went with the reinier not the seminole.

Trying to tape off the seminole was getting me pissed,so I took the easy way out.

I was wondering, did you make the KW grill? If so do you sell them?
