You need to get Snochasers compactor up there to help with the backfilling. You dont want to have any problems with dirt settling in the future.

Is this being built as an area for your models to work, or do you have other plans and using the models to build it is just an added benefit.

RCLogger

Way back on page 3 or 4 of this thread you mention you get your #35 chain with K1 links of of China. From whom do you buy if from/through? I may have missed it but, I don't see that mentioned anywhere.

Try this link tomorrow, https://worldindustrial.com/offline.html there website is down. Type in 35-K1-2LRB (HM) in the search box, you are looking for every other link on the attachment's. I'm working on a project with #40 k1 chain. PM me with questions. I found some Indian and Chinese sources, but I don't trust the overseas seller's, one of our members got burned by alibaba.
Cheer's, Neil.

Thanks Neil I'll take a look. I have some contacts in China so I could possibly try that route as well.

Now I know what to search for I found this
http://www.royalsupply.com/store/pc/...m#.UowrzXy9KSM

Seems kinda pricey though

$13.00/ft is the price to beat for#40 k1 chain.
I haven't had a chance to price it at applied industrial technologies yet.
Cheers, Neil.

If you want to hook two speed controllers with separate batteries to one receiver you must take the red wire out of one of the controller's receiver plug. Very carefully remove it by releasing the brass prong out of the plug with a straight pin. I just put shrink tubing over it so it doesn't short out on anything and you're good. If it's a Sabertooth pull the Red wire on both plugs to the receiver. Now if it's one battery feeding both speed controllers, it really doesn't matter as it's the same power source.

That was my concern. So when using a receiver pack. Remove red wire from both speed controllers. Sorry just don't want to burn out my receiver. Whst kind of run time are you getting with your set up? Thanks Patrick.

Yes your right. When you use a separate battery pack for the receiver, you pull the Red wire from both speed controllers. You'll have to ask Greg about the run times as he used to run Nicad's but has now switched to Lipo's.

When I pulled the red wires out the rx plugs of the Sabertooth, then the dual esc didn't work. I use the small receiver 4.8v batt that comes with radio kits with the Sabertooth red wires installed as well, I never had any problems, nor any time outs b/c of thermal protection.
